It's certainly worth hearing about; thanks for trying it! Quite likely there are other people who want that combination.

That's not too surprising. Pluto is still a somewhat restricted subset of what the spec calls for, and interoperates only if the other end happens to restrict itself to that ill-documented subset. It's getting better, but has quite some distance to go yet.
