Candidate, singular -- the 1.00 release is the only one under active development in a distinct branch, since 0.91 is out and will not change now.

Anyway, the answer is: now. I just finished revising the snapshotter to snapshot the pre-1.00 stream as well as the mainline code (which contains stuff aimed at post-1.00 releases). It's a bit kludgey -- the snapshotter really needs to be rewritten somewhat -- but it works.

For everyone on the list who's thinking "there's a story behind this which I haven't heard yet", you're right -- the story will appear in the list shortly (probably this evening; I have to go out for a while right now).
