(By the way, this stuff should all be logged in one of the syslog log files, typically /var/log/secure.) It's possible that Pluto is starting up slowly and isn't quite ready. You might try changing the "sleep 1" in /etc/rc.d/init.d/ipsec (aka /usr/local/lib/ipsec/setup) to something like "sleep 10" and see if that helps. > Am I using the wrong syntax in the ipsec file? or doing something else
