I just tryed running pulto after killing the previous daemon process and the new ones just exited for no good reason. I did get the return value of '0377' wich is rather boring, where would I look up the various exit values, in the man page? Right... Now when I delete the /var/pic/pluto* file it works. This is a horribly rude bug, it could test for the the validity old PID or at give me a nice error message (as in ~you blockhead PHB~) but SILENTLY exiting is a horrid evil. Worse we might have sevral plutos running on different ports from the same machine! Yarg! This is the sort of thing that needs to get fixed before any 1.0fcs.
