[Users] applications over freeswan

Hi @ all

i have successful configured a vpn connection with freeswan (gateway-gateway) now i want to use applications via this tunnel. but in use the applications, it get a timeout, so the connection has been lost to the application (not the tunnel). now i make a ping with the "-s" option for example of 1492 bytes (1500 byte), to the application-server behind this tunnel. then i received a time between 800 and 900 ms! normaly perhaps 1.66 ms!??

can anybody help?
