ELLOW ALL.
In the config file you "attach" ipsec0 to a physical network interface and ipsec interface gets the same IP address. Can you change the ipsec IP address?
What I mean is that you have the ethernet interface IP address as the IP address of the outside header and the new ipsec IP address as the inner address of the header in tunnel mode(In tunnel you encapsulte the IP packet with another IP header).
All this in the same machine.
I am a little bit confused with all the documentation I've readen, it's this virtual-ip. Is this what DHCP-over-IPsec does? Sorry, probably this is a stupid question but I am a newbie in networks, linux and IPSec and I am a little(or very) bit lost. Thanks in advance.
