[Users] cisco client --> freeswan, possible yet?

ehlo

I've been digging around and it looks like from some posts in the archive[1] that the cisco client would not work previously because it was using XAUTH, which it seems had not been standardized at the time of the post. From a quick search it does not seem to be standardized yet either. Is there still no successful config for using a cisco client into a freeswan server?

Other sites have lead me to believe that it's not too easy to have multiple ipsec clients on a windows host (reboot to use one or the other) so I'd like the end user to stick with the cisco client if possible.

Every attempt to even test it results in the cisco client coring when importing different certs or attempting to create requests.

If there are any patches to handle the cisco clients auth quirks I would sincerely appreciate a link.

For the archives, I've found this link helpful in regards to windows and x509 specifics: http://www.natecarlson.com/linux/ipsec-x509.php

Any clue, applied in any manner, is appreciated. Thanks for your time, ^D
