[Users] %hold/%trap problem

Hi.

Can anyone explain me that means %hold and %trap in eroute. As I understood, %trap means that if a packet arrives, the tunnel should be requested. %hold is the state after %trap, when all packets are hold until the channel goes up, but no atempt to set up the tunnel are done. Is this true??

Who tries to set up the channel after link crash (some router far in the Internet crashed)?
I've net-to-net tunnel. This works fine everytime, except after link failure. When link is recovered one system have %hold and other %trap. So if I do ping from the first to the second net it fails. If I do vice versa, the link set up is requested and after a few seconds I see ping replies. Why first machine is in %hold state??

Thanx for help.
