[Users] roadwarrior cannot ping localnet when behind gateway

Hi,

natecarlson w2k rw<->freeswan 1.99 x509 0.9.25 gw works as expected. My problem is when I find myself [physically] behind the gateway with my laptop (eg I am at the main office) I cannot access any computers on that internal network, rather it seems as though i am tunnled directly to the first hop of the gw :)
It is ultra conveniant to have ipsec establish a connection automatically so that when i login I can actually authenticate with the domain controller, therfore I am reluctant to establish a connection manually.

I may be wrong, but I dont remember this being an issue with 1.97 x509 0.9.10 and 0.0.13 ( i tried two versions before using 1.99). But like i said I may be wrong.

Any suggestions?
