[Users] How to bind GRE0 to a tunnel?

When I do /etc/init.d/network status under interfaces up there is gre0@NONE , how do I bind that interface to either eth0 or nbxtoapollo@eth0 (nbx... one is my atempt to tunnel GRE over an existing VPN connection provided by other gateways)?
