Hi

I've had best results when using linus Torvald's vanilla kernel from kernel.org.
That's the one that is used e.g. in Slackware 9.0/9.1. No problems there compiling s-freeswan 1.99.8.
With redhat 9 I could compile the kernel, but could never compile the modules. Certain headers were missing.
