Since in the Linux ipsec.conf right seems to be the remote Windows client you should define

   right=%any

instead of right=%defaultroute. But I think this is not the reason for the current error. Could you enable debugging by setting

   klipsdebug=none
   plutodebug=all

in ipsec.conf and send a complete barf to me?
