Date: Wed Apr 28 2004 - 09:52:51 EDT Hi, I have a remote access IPSec vpn with a windows 2000 pro SP4 + 818043 fix. My gateway has sfs 1.99.8 with nat traversal patch 0.6. The gateway has the rw connection configured as left=<IP_of_rw>. What happens is: my windows client initiates a connection ike message, it gets natted. Conclusion: the gateway thinks he has no connection configured for this ip address. Shouldn't the nat traversal fixes fix this? I do not well understand how the patch works. Does ike get through the NAT well? if so, why doesn't it work? And how to make it work? Does the gateway have to configure left=%any perhaps? I also don't know how windows will detect the nat... can someone explain to me? thanks in advance.. greetings, timv Vraag van de week: Welk soort project zou jij financieel ondersteunen?
