Hi everyone:
We have evaluated MySQL performance on both single machine environment and MySQL cluster disk-base environment. And following is the testing result:

  1. Under the Single Machine Environment: the selecting rate and insert rate are 900 records per second and 1000 record per second.
  2. Under the cluster environment, the selecting and insert rate only with 300 records and 500 records per second.

The testing results as per attached, we would appreciate if you can explain how such discrepancy should have happened, and how the single   machine working environment is better than the cluster working environment. Are there some problems of our ndb cluster configuration,or is   the ndb cluster performance so at present?

Our testing environment and cluster topology chart are as follow:

1> hardware environment:

    Cpu: Celeron(R)2.93GHz
    Mem:1G
    Net:100M

    Disk: IDE UDMA133 7200r/m
2> software environment:

    Os: Linux 2.6.15-23-server
MySql: mysql-5.1.19-beta-linux-i686-glibc23 3> cluster topology chart:
