I don't see MySQLd on NDB_MGM

I don't see mysqld as connected on ndb_mgm. But mysqld is running on machine. Any suggestions what could be the problem may be? I have shutdown the firewall and disabled the SELinux on my local network. I am running MySQL 5.1.20 on FC 6.
