Hi,

For monitoring ndbd process I simply use snmp by adding this in snmpd.conf : proc ndbd

(see "Process checks" near the end of snmpd.conf)

Objet : mysql-cluster monitoring with perl or snmp

Do you need help?X

Hi all,

I am looking for a perl utility that would help me interact with mysql cluster. I would like to monitor the cluster state from a perl program, know when data nodes, api or managers are down. Do you know if there is already some work done in that direction, is there a perl API or module available that whould work similar to ndb_mgm ? Or do I have to start from scratch and make calls to ndb_mgm in a perl module ?

I have similar requirements on each nodes regarding snmp. Have you any information on work already done on snmp monitoring of mysql-cluster ?

Thanks for your comments.
