Too man active scans when starting a backup

I am trying to backup my cluster and I get the following error when I do so. Anyone run into this before?

ndb_mgm> start backup
Waiting for completed, this may take several minutes Node 3: Backup 4 started from node 1
Node 3: Backup 4 started from 1 has been aborted. Error: 488 - Too many active scans: Temporary error: Temporary Resource error Backup failed
* 3001: Could not start backup

Too many active scans: Temporary error: Temporary Resource error
