First I notice that even specifying --with-plugins=max-no-ndb and mysql-test-run --skip-ndb still seems to try running the ndb tests which is why I recompiled with NDB.

The primary log file feature is in master.err which says:

atal error: Please read "Security" section of the manual \     to find out how to run mysqld as root!

You can access all the log file here:

Also let me know if there is an environment variable I can set to pass arguments to mysql-test-run (like --mem and --skip-ndb) or if I have to manually run mysql-test-run with other options.

Suggestions appreciated.

Do you need help?X

Thanks.
