Hi Juris,

Since PHP4 and PHP5 don't have unicode support, MaxDB PHP does not support unicode in these PHP versions.

Subject: [LIKELY JUNK]PHP to MaxDB problem

Hi,

I'm having a problem getting UNICODE data out of maxdb using php, I have tried just about everything I could imagine. I set naming unicode, server confirms that it is unicode, but when I select some data that holds unicode letters fields that contain at least single unicode character are empty, those that don't hold unicode chars are being represented fine.

Any ideas?

Do you need help?X

Little details on configuration
Apache2 with php5
maxdb 7.6.00.27

Thanks in advance,
Juris ©mits
