Please reply to the list rather than directly as this allows discussion to be archived for the future use of others experiencing similar problems.

As a rule, you should keep spaces out of any paths as this can cause problems.

But anyway, I think this is an issue with your setup rather than mysql++. Try and get a very basic dll project compiled and linked first.

Subject: Re: Building the mysql++ Library Using MinGW

I followed your directions in Dev-C++, but I got a compilation error, or rather two:

dllcrt2.o C:\Dev-Cpp\Projects\New Folder (3)\ld No such file: No such file or directory.
C:\Dev-Cpp\Projects\New Folder (3)\Makefile.win [Build Error] [Project1.dll] Error 1

It looked like an easy fix, so I attempted to create the folder by copying the folder name and pasting it into the new folder dialog so I didn't get characters confused. Still not working. Any tips would be appreciated.

Do you need help?X

Sincerely,
Matthew Shea
