Re: Connection::connect() interface is changing

I generally lurk, but I have to add my 2 cents. I think all of the proposed changes are good ideas EXCEPT for having the password come BEFORE the User ID. I realise that the original changes proposed have been backed off a bit, but i don't think they were a bad idea in addition to some of the other ideas mentioned on this list. But placing the password BEFORE the user id in contrast to almost every other piece of software ever written strikes me as odd. Every connection i make i specify the user and password and i actually LIKE new connection interface as proposed, with the single exception of the reversal of user id and password.
