Re: [AMaViS-user] amavisd-new and webmin

hello david - greetings from beyond the sea,

It is very pleasant from you offering me the possibility of this extension.

The fact is that amavisd in conjunction with spamassassin is a very powerful and effective solution against spam an I made many useful configurations for my customers - so I had to dig through the amavisd.conf myself (even if I have not reached the goal to configure two quarantines (possible spam ~ 0 < tag2 < 5 / sure spam > 5)).

Though the maintenance of the whitelist is not possible for a "windows admin" or an ingenuous sysadmin of a little company, so the webmin extension could be a perfect completion !

Thanks in advance for the .tgz file (eventually useful for some other members of the mailinglist)

Do you need help?X

Yes, there is (or was) a module written by a guy named Helmut Grund. It seems that all the links I can find to the module are dead, and it is not listed as a third party module on the Webmin site either.

I am actually running this module in my current Webmin configuration on my mail server - although I edited all the amavisd-new config files manually because I wanted to really understand them. If you are really interested, email me off list and I will see if I can dig up an old (2005??) .tar file for you.
