[Nagiosplug-help] Error while connecting to remote NRPE

Hi,
I am getting following error when trying to execute check_nrpe from the Nagios server,
"CHECK_NRPE: Received 0 bytes from daemon. Check the remote server logs for error messages."

on the Client (monitored host) the log gives following, "[ID 927837 mail.info] connect from nagiosHost"

Can anybody help me with resolving this issue?
