Wireless Problems

I recently installed ubuntu 7.04 on my Averatec 3150 laptop. Windows identifies the card as "Wireless Lan 11 Mbps WM 168b USB , IEEE 802.11b Prism3 USB"

I installed linux-wlan-ng from the ubuntu repositories, which is supposed to support Prism2, 2.5 and 3 USB installations. Many files were installed but their use requires more experience than I have. I really don't know where to start. Has anyone had this problem and discovered a solution?
