Less than 2/3 weeks ago I read of some wiki software (not the one used in wikipedia, IIRC, another one) which, according to the article, could be easily used just as a personal document management system for everything you listed and then some.

I am almost sure it was twiki, (http://twiki.org/), even if I can't find the article. But even DocMgr (http://www.docmgr.org/) seems to be designed to satisfy the same need in asimilar way.
