Wii remote good or bad?

Is it worth setting up the Wii remote on Ubuntu?

I'm going to be showing off Gutsy Gibbon and the 3D Desktop. I thought it would be nice to use the Wii remote for this. My hope is that the Wii remote will add to the cool factor. I've never set one up so any and all suggestions would be a big help.
