Interfaces _called_ wlanN probably always refer to the wireless network
card, but not all wireless network cards are called wlanN.
For example, I use an Intel 3945, and ifconfig as well as iwconfig
always called it eth0 (but since I did a fresh install of Gutsy after
release, it's called etho_rename).
