hpijs-ppds update appears stalled in "preparation"

...appears to be stalled in "preparing..." -- "Adept Updater" is just sitting there not using any cpu any longer. So what should I do? just kill it? Is there any cleanup necessary? I really can't afford to have my printing messed up. Perhaps I'm unnecessarily on the bleeding edge here with getting an "unstable" package installed? Should I roll back to a more stable install of the "hpi" printing packages? How would I do that if so? As it is I can print fine on my 1320 laserjet, but I have been unable to get my network-connected d155xi ink jet to work. (that's probably a separate question). thanks, =JeffH -- ubuntu-users mailing list ubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-usersReceived on Sat Oct 13 12:40:28 2007 This archive was generated by hypermail 2.1.8 : Thu Jun 19 2008 - 12:13:36 EDT |
