Sorry, Anna, I skimmed your paper briefly when it first arrived but have only now had time to read through it in detail. I think it is really good work, and the results are most heartening. A couple of thoughts:

• It would be helpful to have a couple of illustrative diagrams (though maybe those were included in your original OpenOffice package, which I unfortunately couldn't open). In particular, a diagram of the end-to-end test apparatus would be nice.
• The analysis of your findings is good, but I would like to see all of your raw experimental results, maybe in tabular form: configuration, file size, interruption interval size, overall latency, data rate (or something like that).
• And then, too, it would be nice to see your analytical results in graphical form, so that we can more easily get some intuitive understanding of what the numbers mean.

One useful way to extend the experiment might be to make the end-to-end DTN path longer by inserting one or two additional machines. This would enable you to explore more complex interruption scenarios, e.g., the links from A to B and from C to D are interrupted but the link from B to C is still intact, etc. We think we know what happens in that sort of scenario, but experimental confirmation would still be nice to have.
