absence 1.3
absence is a tool for keeping track of people (but could be adapted for any other object) on a daily basis. It is meant to replace that ubiquitous whiteboard in the office of the boss. You know the one, where someone has used a permanent magic marker to mark a matrix, and vacations/training/etc. are marked with non-permanent markers as blocks. absence is a CGI system, and has a resolution of one day. It is not intended to be used for keeping appointments or any other activity that requires a finer resolution. It generates an image for each month to be displayed using the GD library. It can be configured to produce PNG or GIF (or even JPEG).

Imagine typing ssh [Tab] and being able to complete on hosts from your ~/.ssh/known_hosts files. Or typing man 3 str [Tab] and getting a list of all string handling functions in the UNIX manual. mount system: [Tab] would complete on all exported file-systems from the host called system, while make [Tab] would complete on all targets in Makefile. This project was conceived to produce programmable completion routines for the most common Linux/UNIX commands, reducing the amount of typing sysadmins and programmers need to do on a daily basis.

changedfiles 0.9.5
changedfiles is a framework for filesystem replication, security monitoring, and/or automatic file transformations--essentially any application where you'd poll files or directories and either do something to them or send them somewhere else (or both). The difference is, the kernel tells you when they change, instead of you having to poll. Besides which, it's an easy real time FTP push mirror to one or multiple sites. The changedfiles system consists of two parts: a kernel module (works with Linux kernel version 2.4) which reports to a device whenever a file on the filesystem changes, and a daemon which runs in user space and can be configured to do almost any action when a change to a file matching the one of the patterns it looks for is reported. The kernel module is SMP safe and has been tested on Intel, PowerPC, and Alpha.

Fast Intelligent Software RAID1 2.14
This is a Linux kernel driver that replaces the kernel's own software RAID1 (i.e. mirroring) driver. This driver tracks missed mirror updates on a faulted mirror component and when the component is repaired it updates only the missed blocks, if that is appropriate, not the whole device. This strategy is particularly suited to mirrors composed of remote components (see project ENBD), because faults are likely to be temporary network faults in this setting, not catastrophic failures of the remote media. This driver is the first of several which will add intelligence to the Linux kernels own software RAID drivers. It is compatible with the standard Linux raidtools2 software utilities package. FIDOGATE 4.4.7
FIDOGATE is a Fido-Internet gateway and a Fido tosser. The gateway converts between the worlds of Fido NetMail/EchoMail (or FTNs, Fido Technology Networks in general) and the UNIX mail/news system. FIDOGATE will convert Fido mail packets to RFC822/1036-style messages and vice versa.

TCC (Tiny C Compiler) is small, fast, unlimited, and safe. You can compile and execute C code everywhere (e.g., on rescue disks). It generates optimized x86 code, and can compile, assemble, and link several times faster than 'gcc -O0'. Any C dynamic library can be used directly. It includes an optional memory and bounds checker, and bounds-checked code can be mixed freely with standard code. C script is also supported--just add '#!/usr/bin/tcc' at the first line of your C source, and execute it directly from the command line.
