Authors create code review topics, and the nominated reviewers are automatically notified by email. Reviewers can view the proposed diff in colored-diff mode, and can also view the original and new files that comprise the review in their entirety when Codestriker is linked with CVS or Subversion. Comments are made on a per-line basis, and comments submitted by the other reviewers can be viewed as they are created. Emails are sent to the appropriate parties when comments are created. The author is free to submit comments against the review comments. The end result is a structured set of review comments instead of a pile of unstructured emails. Codestriker also features the ability to search over existing topics in a variety of ways.

It is this buffer that smalloc manages when doling out memory to client code. This design makes smalloc ideal for use inside a Realtime Linux kernel module. It also makes it much easire to port userspace code that relies on malloc() in C or operator new() in C++ for memory management to a realtime kernel module.

It was originally developed to provide a framework for computational scientists to use one another's components without having to download and compile each other's code. The name comes from the fact that it is designed for entire XML documents and non-XML files to be embedded within SOAP requests and responses without losing their integrity. These files are passed directly to the legacy application on the server and stored directly to disk on the client. It is not intended for implementing "servlets". In particular, it makes no attempt to map XML data types into convenient Perl datatypes, nor does it allow arbitrary Perl functions on the server to be invoked by SOAP requests.
