    guerby writes: Michel Rocard (ex France Prime Minister) now on the     Committee on Culture, Youth, Education, the Media and Sport is     proposing an amendment (pdf link) to explicitely rule out patentability     on information (processing, ...) at the european parliament. The     rationale is beautifuly written. Let's hope it has some influence on     the outcome of the ongoing battle to stay free of software patents in     Europe.
