SuSE Linux Firewall on CD 2
In line with industry trends towards software appliances for security applications, SuSE has released a bundled OS plus firewall software installation. It comes with a minimal SuSE Linux preconfigured boot-up system, which hardens the OS in turning off non-essential services. As with other software appliances, a key benefit is being able to install the firewall together with the OS, easily turning a PC into a relatively robust appliance.
