Rilke CMS 0.84 released!

The fifth release of Rilke CMS, version 0.8.4 has been made available
at SourceForge. Rilke CMS provides easy content management for
non-geeks. It allows you to easily publish a weblog, update a public
website, or collaborate on a private Intranet site. This release is a
feature and bug fix release. Rilke CMS 0.8.4 has two new themes (Lax
and Highlite), dates next to post titles in the All Posts page, a
better looking Log-In page, better compatibility with Mozilla 1.5
alpha, a new way to preview themes (without needing pre-captured

Turck MMCache for PHP version 2.3.20 is released http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=296199
Turck MMCache is a PHP Accelerator, Optimizer, Encoder and Dynamic Content Cache. It increases performance of PHP scripts by caching them in compiled state, so that the overhead of compiling is almost completely eliminated. Also it uses some optimizations for speed up of PHP scripts execution. Turck MMCache typically reduces server load and increases the speed of your PHP code by 1-10 times. It has been tested with PHP 4.1.0 - 4.3.2 under Linux and Windows with Apache 1.3 and 2.0. Optimizer for ZE2 was implemented. Optimization of extension_loaded() was fixed for encoded scripts. Optimization of was fixed. "mmcache.compress" configuration directive was added to enable or disable cached content compression. "mmcache_password.php" and "encoder.php" now can work from web and from command line. Proper "__FILE__" handling in encoded files was implemented. PHP constant MMCACHE_VERSION was introduced.

A new version of JFreeChart has been released. The focus of this release is the support for multiple range axes (instead of the current limit of 2 range axes per chart). Some other minor enhancements and bug fixes are also included. JFreeChart is a class library, written in Java, for generating charts. Utilising the Java2D APIs, it currently supports bar charts, pie charts, line charts, XY-plots and time series plots.

This comes in very handy if, for example, one switches from an 8-bit locale to an UTF-8 locale. It has some smart features: it automagically recognises if a file is already UTF-8 encoded (thus partly converted filesystems can be fully moved to UTF-8) and it also takes care of symlinks. Additionally, it is able to convert from normalization form C (UTF-8 NFC) to NFD and vice-versa. This is important for interoperability with Mac OS X, for example, which uses NFD, while Linux and most other Unixes use NFC. Though it's primary written to convert from/to UTF-8 it can also be used with almost any other charset encoding. Note that this is a command line tool which requires at least Perl version 5.8.0.
