Microsoft: Because Bugs are Cool

one percent' call volume in relation to bugs. He also blames the users
lack of knowledge as a cause of some of these bugs. He goes on to say
that the feeling of frustration that people hold towards bugs is a
sociological issue, rather than technical saying that people complain
about software bugs 'Because it's cool.' Read more in this

is seeking a digital signature from Microsoft to approve the XBox Linux
project. This would allow it to run on an unmodified XBox. According to
the article, "Microsoft will be eligible to apply for an [3]award under
this scheme if they approve Xbox Linux as a normal Xbox program."

looks like they had a lot of fun making it. In many ways they are
scratching the same sort of itch that generates free software. So what
about audio drama? The technology needed to produce it is freely
available, things like [5]Ardour and [6]Csound. So is it possible to
produce an audio drama based on free texts such as those from
[7]Project Gutenberg in a distributed fashion, with contributers from
all across the Net, just like with software? Would they even be useful
as an introduction to classic fiction or just as pure entertainment?"

SEC claim he is a huge spammer. They claim he sends out spam spreading
false and misleading information about various penny stocks. So far he
has made at least $159,600 in stock and cash from 1998-2001 for
spreading this false information. In a brief interview Tuesday, Meltzer
(The evil spammer), 37, said he hadn't seen the complaint. "This is a
surprise," he added."
