The reason was a copy protection technology in the best seller album
"Tribalistas" that didn't play in his car. You can read about it in
[1]Folha de São Paulo (babelfish [2] translation here), brazilian
biggest newspaper. They must be very afraid, since EMI vice-president
defended the company himself in a lawsuit involving less than US$
350,00. A more detailed report is in my music site [3]Agenda do Samba &
Choro (babelfish [4]here), where we release some of the lawsuit files
to make it easier for others to sue them. Since last year, we are
calling for a [5]boycott ([6]babelfish) of copy protected albums. The
companies appealed, and said that they will take the case to the
Supreme Court, because it is a 'question of principles'. The consumer
is sueing them again, because all new EMI albums in Brazil are being
released with copy protection and won't work in his car."

That value is based on estimated loses DirectTV and Echostar may have incurred had Frazier been able to sell his devices. user myself, I felt that way a long time ago, but it's cool to see

Three years to the day since Gallery became a SourceForge project, we're pleased to announce the release of Gallery v1.3.4 as well as Gallery Remote v1.0.1. Gallery v1.3.4 is both a new feature and bugfix release, and is recommended for all Gallery users. New features for v1.3.4 include: the ability to download your gallery to burn to CD or browse offline, additional photo print services, auto-rotation of JPEGs when possible, and the ability to add new customized description fields to photos. In addition, v.1.3.4 fixes numerous minor bugs, and extends support for PHP-Nuke to versions 6.5 and newer, and improves the Windows XP Publishing Wizard interface. Alongside the new Gallery release comes the release of Gallery Remote v1.0.1, which fixes many bugs, implements HTTP basic authentication, and allows you to save and load Gallery Remote projects.
