Bluetooth for Homebrew Robots?
MacGod asks: "As an extra-curricular for my university, I am working
some other engineers to try and design a [0]RoboSoccer Project (please
don't wipe out our server if possible), with the hopes of entering the

impossible to locate any suitable BlueTooth modules. We'd really like
something that could be put onto a breadboard, and that would come with
sufficiently detailed instructions that we'd be able to implement it
without being BlueTooth experts. Any suggestion on homebrew BlueTooth
solutions, Slashdot?"

Kriss insisted that decision was made on technical grounds and had
nothing to do with antitrust investigation of Microsoft by the state of

The result is an administratively maintenance-free, self-learning anti-spam tool. This approach, applied to a mature corpus of email, has the potential to yield a 99.75% success rate with less than a 0.01% chance of false positives.
Epylog 0.9.6
Epylog is a log notifier and parser that periodically tails system logs on Unix systems, parses the output in order to present it in an easily readable format (parsing modules currently exist only for Linux), and mails the final report to the administrator. It can run daily or hourly. Epylog is written specifically for large clusters where many systems log to a single loghost using syslog or syslog-ng. Although Epylog can be used on standalone systems, other packages (like logwatch) are probably better suited for such purposes. Fast IRC Stats Generator 0.3.7 (Development) http://freshmeat.net/releases/137189/ Fast IRC Stats Generator (FISG) creates HTML pages with statistics about IRC logs. This provides compile-time type- checking as well as excellent performance.
Jatha 1.1
Jatha is a macro preprocessor for Java. It's different from most macro systems because it doesn't just perform textual substituation the way C macros do; instead, in Jatha, each macro is processed by custom Java code that you write yourself. It allows you to have very smart macros. You can put Jatha macros inside any kind of file--Java source files, C++ source files, plain text, etc. Jatha is not intended for use in Web sites or HTML, because it is not designed to do macro expansions whenever a page is requested.
Java Serialization to XML 2 2.1.1
Java Serialization to XML 2 allows you to convert Java objects into streams of XML and back again. Using it is as easy as replacing "ObjectOutputStream" with "JSX.ObjectWriter" to convert objects to XML, and replacing "ObjectInputStream" with "JSX.ObjectReader" to convert XML into objects. JSX subclasses Java's serialization classes, so it can be used in their place with the same simple power. This allows you to check and correct your distributed, persisted, and logged object data, and process it with XSLT, SAX, and DOM. JSX handles all objects, complex object graphs, new classes, old classes, and evolving classes. JSX even handles classes that do not implement the "Serializable" interface.
