h_orion writes "According to Mr. Gates, Microsoft recieves 'Less than
one percent' call volume in relation to bugs. He also blames the users
lack of knowledge as a cause of some of these bugs. He goes on to say
that the feeling of frustration that people hold towards bugs is a
sociological issue, rather than technical saying that people complain
about software bugs 'Because it's cool.' Read more in this

with the message that he doesn't want to be bothered by solicitations.
But, [0]this story in a Minneapolis newspaper tells how the Feds and
SEC claim he is a huge spammer. They claim he sends out spam spreading
false and misleading information about various penny stocks. So far he
has made at least $159,600 in stock and cash from 1998-2001 for
spreading this false information. In a brief interview Tuesday, Meltzer

Reliable, Inexpensive RAID Backup
As a topic, backups is one of those subject likely to elicit as many answers as people you ask about it. It is as personal a choice as your desktop configuration or your operating system. So in this article I am not even going to attempt to cover all the options. Instead I describe the methods I use for building a reliable, useful backup system. This solution is not the right answer for everyone, but it works well for my situation. Enterprise CTO Switches to Mac OS X: "Rethink Before You Reinstall http://linux.com/article.pl?sid=03/02/19/2016236 Louis Gray writes "BlueArc CTO Geoff Barrall, using a PC day in and day out, found things becoming progressively more difficult as they increased in complexity. After one final straw, he sought out an alternative, and switched to Mac OS X - in a corporate environment. His column, titled "Rethink Before You Reinstall" documents the challenges facing Mac OS X in enterprise, and how he has changed his views." Five things every IT manager should know about Linux http://linux.com/article.pl?sid=03/02/19/2011205 When IT managers ask me if they should use Linux, my response is always the same: "It depends upon your needs and goals." This usually leads to a spirited conversation about long-term vs. short-term strategy, return on investment and "core competencies." Review: Open-Source Software Accurately Sorts Your Mail http://linux.com/article.pl?sid=03/02/19/1936235 In the future, your e-mail client will automatically be able to sort through and prioritize your e-mail as it comes in.
