When the Apache daemon runs chrooted and additional modules are loaded, ie. mod_perl, apachectl restart will fail since modules are outside the chroot tree. A complete stop/start is required. [Sat Aug 24 15:21:48 2002] [notice] SIGHUP received. Attempting to restart Syntax error on line 197 of /conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /usr/lib/apache/modules/mod_perl.so into server: No such file or directory httpd dies.
