>Confidential: no
net
>Environment:

	System : OpenBSD 3.1
	Architecture: OpenBSD.i386
	Machine : i386

>Description:

ppp is being run in multilink mode with 2 modems
if an individual line is dropped, the redial happens ok
if both lines are dropped simultaneously (eg session timeout)
the connection is restored, however the link is inactive
and no traffic is seen to cross the ppp link. ppp can be killed
and restarted and everything functions normally (until the next
	disconnection)

>How-To-Repeat:

        /etc/ppp.conf is as follows

default:
set log Phase Chat LCP IPCP CCP tun command  set device /dev/cua01
 set speed 115200
 set dial "ABORT BUSY ABORT NO\\sCARRIER TIMEOUT 5 \"\" AT OK-AT-OK ATE1Q0 OK \\dATDT\\T TIMEOUT 40 CONNECT"

pmdemand:
 set phone 86633700
 set login
 set ifaddr 10.0.0.1/0 10.0.0.2/0 255.255.255.0 0.0.0.0  set mrru 1500
 set mru 1504
 set authname ********
 set authkey ********
 set timeout 120
 set reconnect 20 10
 add default HISADDR
 enable dns

 clone 1,2
 link deflink remove
 link 1 set mode ddial
 link 2 set mode ddial
 link 1 set device /dev/cua00
 link 2 set device /dev/cua01
 link 1 set redial 10
 link 2 set redial 30

ppp is run as:

ppp -ddial pmdemand

The redial/reconnect settings are academic. It still happens
whether or not they are there.
