and here it hangs, seemingly indefinitely. Interestingly, if the
machine is ejected from the docking station (while powered up), the
boot will progress after a few moments of screen flashing.
>How-To-Repeat:
Insert otherwise perfectly functioning machine into docking station,
boot. See hang durring boot as indicated above. Verified both with
snapshot downloaded an hour ago and a July 14 build (both stock
GENERIC). If testing or additional info desired, machine is quite
available.
>Fix:
Workaround: from UKC, disable pcibios, machine now boots and seems
to function fine. However, I suspect there is a better way...
