	System : OpenBSD 3.1
	Architecture: OpenBSD.i386
	Machine : i386

>Description:

When trying to boot with kernel from current snapshot, the system hangs with this:

"intel 82371AB Power Mgmt" rev 0x02 at pc0 dev 4 function 3 not configured ahc1 at pci0 dev 6 function 0 "Adaptec AIC-7890/1 U2" rev 0x00: irq 10 ahc1: aic7890/91: Ultra2 Wide Channel A, SCSI Id=7, 32/255 SCBs scsibus0 at ahc1: 16 targets
kernel: page fault trap, code=0
Stopped at 0xd0e8d800: addb %al,0(%eax) ddb> trace _end(d0e8d800,2710,1,1) at 0xd0e8d800
_ahc_execute_scb(0,0,d0595d41,1,d0606a18) at _ahc_execute_scb+9x553

(ps shows nothing) This is the same machine that had the problem reported on Feb 28 as "kernel/2440". Kernels built since Sep 12 seem unstable, resulting in occasional lockups without any error message. The kernel from the Sep 17 snapshot has been the best one since then, but it still locks up at intervals. The ones from the last couple of days never get to finish the boot process. I can send you the dmesg output from the Sep 17 kernel, but don't know if that would help.

>How-To-Repeat:

Can't be avoided. Just try to boot.
>Fix:

Went back to Sep 10 kernel.
