 Now there's a blast from the past... I submitted this weeks ago.  

 We could comfortably add to this that the whole pcic driver is a hack.  

 There are comments in there begging Jason Thorpe to come fix it (NetBSD  genesis?). It has hard coded addresses for mapping cards into, if those  addresses are already in use, the driver bombs out (i82365.c from memory)

  • this driver was the cause of me switching my project to a FreeBSD base (also gave me a [binary] driver for the M-Systems Disk on Chip).
