kernel/3116: mbuf leak
From: Tomas Svensson <ts(at)unix1.net>
Date: Sun Feb 23 2003 - 06:04:00 EST
System : OpenBSD 3.2 Architecture: OpenBSD.i386 Machine : i386 >Description: The system is consistently leaking mbufs. Applying the icmp mbuf leak fix didn't help (complete system and kernel built from OPENBSD_3_2 a week ago). This is after less than a weeks uptime: 1026 mbufs in use: 65 mbufs allocated to data 14 mbufs allocated to packet headers 947 mbufs allocated to socket names and addresses64/156 mapped pages in use 844 Kbytes allocated to network (45% in use) 0 requests for memory denied 0 requests for memory delayed 0 calls to protocol drain routines netstat -na shows only a few connections and so does pfctl -ss (NAT for a few machines). Killing all processes except for init and sshd doesn't free anything. dmesg: OpenBSD 3.2-stable (GENERIC) #0: Sun Feb 16 22:07:04 CET 2003 ts@simba.unix1.net:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC
