Yes I said that and it's a good idea. It's also used in the FreeBSD random number pseudo device implementation (and probably in the OpenBSD implementation aswell).

Yes I also came up with that idea. And I developed it much further to the extent that it is now very good indeed.

I also remember that when you attempted to publically disgrace that idea, you changed the source code which I had posted to the OpenBSD and FreeBSD mailing lists, and used the changed source code to generate your results. You did not, however, say what changes you made.
