Well, my BIOS is dated "09/04/02" from the dmesg (not able to reboot it at the moment). The person i was talking to earlier had your version of the BIOS i believe, and his machine would not boot, and got the same kernel panic....which makes things interesting.....but I don't get what could of changed in the BIOS that would cause a kernel panic.....

Nope. Pentuim 4 - 1.80ghz
