Hello,

I have installed a 3.3 release of freebsd by ftp, i tried to rebuild the system so i downloaded the src.tar.gz on this cvs server: anoncvs@anoncvs.be.openbsd.org:/cvs

i followed many kind of procedure to rebuild it like this one: http://www.openbsd.org/faq/upgrade-minifaq.html or this one:
http://www.openbsd.org/faq/faq5.html#Building

but in any way at the kernel compilation it break down at this point:

cc -Werror -Wall -Wstrict-prototypes -Wmissing-prototypes -Wno-uninitialized
-Wno-format -Wno-main -O2 -nostdinc -I.

/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC/../../../../arch/i386/i386/bios.c
/tmp/ccU11028.s: Assembler messages:
/tmp/ccU11028.s:518: Error: operands given don't match any known 386 instruction
*** Error code 1

Stop in /usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC (line 3000 of Makefile).

I tried with others src, anyway it's the same thing.

I didn't find anything about it...
I don't know if you are aware of this problem, if you have any information can you indicate me from where the problem come from ?

Do you need help?X

Thank you,

Alexandre Ahmim-Richard
