3.2 -current and python (core dump)

In an attempt to get ipcheck running on a 3.2 -curent box (10/26, i386), python2.1 refuses to do anything but dump core.
(ipcheck and python was installed from a fresh cvs of ports)

Tell me this isn't just a memory dimm that has gone bad :)
