unlike some of the other unices, OpenBSD gets swap information directly from the kernel. grep for "swap" in /sys/arch/<your_arch>/conf/GENERIC. man config(8) for more information. of course, you can use more devices for swap. man swapctl(8) for more information.

this is weird. it works fine here on i386. double-check the line. see if there isn't an extra whitespace somewhere. or maybe there is something special about cdroms on sparc arch.
