cvs: could not chdir to games/snake/snake

Hi,

does anyone else get this kind of error:

    newhope:src {43} echo $CVSROOT
    anoncvs@grappa.unix-ag.uni-kl.de:/cvs     newhope:src {44} cvs -d $CVSROOT -q up -PAd | & tee ~/src.txt     ....
    P etc/pf.conf
    cvs [update aborted]: could not chdir to games/snake/snake: Not a directory     ^C
    newhope:src {42} ll games/snake/snake     84 -rwxr-xr-x 1 alex wsrc 42660 Nov 21 00:07 games/snake/snake

I had it several times and checking out the complete /usr/src anew had helped but I wonder what does it mean and if there is an easier cure?

Also, if files in /usr/src/etc get updated, I need to review copy them to /etc manually, right?
